With Film and Video Design as a part of the courses, the various inter-collegiate drama competitions, college events and fests, and the fact that we didn’t have any money to shoot our films, all the college acting enthusiasts were no less busy than A-list Bollywood Stars!! One of my wackiest memories, if not the best, at MIT ID lies in a situation, conjured up purely because of my “keeda” for acting, fanned by the conducive setting I mentioned earlier. The Situation – I had got a buffalo to college, essaying the role of “Yamraj”, the Indian God of Death!! And that’s not all; I got so much into the character, that while acting, I slapped the buffalo on the back, to express my rage and aura, and the buffalo made a mad dash back towards the cow-sheds, taking down whoever was standing on the road!! The act was a hit!! What’s life without a bit of theatrics and drama, right?!
