Reshma Pore

It was the first year of college. Bags were packed and we were ready to go home for the weekend.
Transport was booked. It was the month of July and it started raining. It poured heavily for hours.
We got the news that all the roads were flooded. Our plans got cancelled and we stayed back. After
hours of downpour it finally stopped raining. The next day all of us decided to take a walk through
the campus. I had never seen such beautiful colours of the sky. Roads were covered with red
gulmohar flowers. I still remember the pleasant smell of the earth. That was the best weather I have
ever experienced. Even today, whenever it rains I am reminded of that day and I wish I could
experience it once again.
